Under the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Personal Information", citizens have the right to know what personal data is collected, processed and stored by state, municipal or commercial organizations (holders of personal data arrays) and whether they do so on a lawful basis.
Healthcare
The patient has the right to confidentiality of data relating to his or her state of health, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment, as well as all personal data and other information that must be kept confidential.
Internet / Work / Special categories
Personal data protection in the workplace and on the Internet is regulated by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. Special categories of personal data include racial or ethnic origin, political views, religious or philosophical beliefs, and information concerning health and sexual orientation. Collection and processing are permitted only in cases established by law or with the consent of the data subject.
