At the board of the State personal data protection agency
under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, they discussed the work done for 2023 and plans for 2024.

✅In 2023:

1. Legal regulation: 11 projects of legal acts and 1 local act were initiated.

2. International cooperation: 70 international events were held.

3. Cases: Cases of violation of the rights of personal data subjects are considered.

4. Training Center: A Training Center has been launched, offering training on personal data protection and information security.

5. Outreach: Trainings were conducted for various groups of the population.

6. Technical level: A register of personal data holders, a self-assessment module and a privacy policy generator have been developed.

🔶Plans for 2024 include improving the legal framework, expanding international cooperation, strengthening information security and continuing educational work.
