From June to August 2022, more than 340 people were trained in the trainings organized by the State Agency for Personal Data Protection under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. In total, 13 training sessions and seminars were organized during this period. The subject of the training is issues of personal data protection, as well as the Register of holders of personal data arrays. The participants of the trainings were representatives from 25 state bodies, 24 cities of republican, regional and district significance, 94 aiyl okmotu, 10 non-profit and human rights organizations, as well as 18 commercial organizations.

The State Agency is working to raise awareness on the protection of personal data within the framework of the implementation of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Personal Information". In accordance with the Law, state authorities, local self-government bodies and legal entities that collect, store, process and use personal data of citizens are holders of personal data arrays. According to article 30 of this Law, arrays of personal data and their holders are subject to mandatory registration with the Agency.

Information and educational activities are one of the key areas of work of the State Agency.
