On September 21-22, representatives of the State Agency for Personal Data Protection under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic held a training for employees of the Department of Population Registration under the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic. The training was held on the topic “Personal data protection: practical recommendations for government agencies”.  The training was conducted in order to raise awareness of civil servants in the field of personal data protection.

As part of the training conducted by the Agency's staff, topics such as legislation in the field of personal data, rules for the transfer of personal data to third parties, the life cycle of personal data turnover, as well as issues of depersonalization and destruction of data were covered. In the practical part of the training, case studies were considered on the validity of the transfer of personal data to third parties.
